Buying a home is one of the largest investments most of us ever become involved in.Yet people sometimes take less time in this purchase than they do when buying a new car.
For many, the process can be unfamiliar territory; not knowing what questions to ask; taking many things for granted; relying on others when perhaps it was better not to; and often wishing they had known more about what the home purchasing process involved.
As a realtor, I feel it is important for my clients to understand the procedures normally involved in the purchase of a home; to help them recognize the significance of each step in the process, the documents they will encounter, and to understand the roles of the key players who may be involved in the transaction.
